Performing at the ball were assistant conductor for the Metropolitan Opera House,  John Churchwell and Opera Soprano Mary Dunleavy who's root's are from Sligo and Kerry

The Fighting 69^th Regiment have led the parade for approx. 150 years and in 2006 it was their official welcome home parade from Iraq. They are proudly lead up the Avenue by piper Joe Brady
